JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Manager, Expo Sales, the Account Executive, Expo Sales will be responsible for driving Expo, Group, and VIP revenue for all properties (i.e. IRONMAN, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Across the Bay 10k, etc) within assigned region.  They will be responsible for achieving the company objectives of sales, growth and profitability while ensuring to align IRONMAN with the proper brands and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ADMINISTRATIVE:

·         Prepare weekly sales report for Manager, Expo Sales

·         Prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new business opportunities

·         Prepare contractual agreements for sponsors in accordance with company policy

OPERATIONAL:

·         Host IRONMAN branded functions or face-to-face meetings with clients and/or prospects

SALES, LICENSING, AND PARTNERSHIPS SUPPORT:

·         Support Manager, Expo Sales in promoting the business mission

·         Liaise with the service teams regularly to ensure sponsor satisfaction in and around the building on deliverables according to contract and growing clients into larger programs

Manager, Partnership Development - IRONMAN (Tampa, FL)

Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, Analytics & Administration (BI/BA), the Manager, Partnership Development, is responsible for supporting the Global Partnerships (GP) Department, which incudes the Sales and Partnership Services teams. That support includes:

·         Designing and producing sales and partnership services decks (presentations), templates, informational event materials, and more.

·         Developing, educating, and maintaining team processes for accessing and utilizing partnership department tools and resources. Current tools/resources include: DigiDeck, Basecamp, OneDrive, BrandFolder.

·         Fulfilling requests for materials and resources made by salespeople and partnership services team members

·         Internally sourcing, gathering, organizing, and verifying data to develop sponsor programs and sales materials.

The Manager, Partnership Development is also responsible for supporting the VIP Services team with the designing and production of sales and informational event materials for the marketing and execution of those programs.

The Manager, Partnership Development will engage in processes that support consistent business growth and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our departmental resources. This position is responsible for coordinating, developing, improving, and producing Global Partnerships Department materials consistent with industry expectations, and to achieve the company objectives of revenue growth.

1 – Development and graphic design of brand-consistent sales and service resources

·         Collaborate with the Director of BI/BA and GP Department leadership team to plan and design templates for sales presentations (decks), event statistics, info-graphics, and additional sales and partnership related design requests.

·         Graphic designed support of Partnerships Department event collateral, including but not limited to signage, invitations, and informational materials.

·         Design and development of creative assets for use in social media and digital media.

·         Provide team and individual graphic design support to salespeople and partnership services team through customization and tailoring of sales tools and presentations to specification.

 

2 – Development of partnership programming for sponsorship sales

·         Stay educated on company practices, operational procedures, and event execution, for the purposes of understanding the details of integrating partners into our events and platforms.

·         Source best practices and latest trends from sports, marketing, and broader sponsorship industry to support and lead the development of up-to-date, on-trend programming for current and prospective clients.

3 – Management and regular maintenance of standardized team resources and contents

·         Manage annual, monthly, and weekly updates to Partnerships Department global brand presentation (deck).

·         Source and organize internal monthly metrics for updating in our global brand presentation, and for our sales and partnership services teams to access as needed. This is includes but is not limited to current event calendars, website data, email data, social media metrics, and more.

·         Manage process for team access and utilization of tools and resources.

·         Utilize departmental systems to manage work/request queue and delivery of completed projects.

4 – Development and oversight of DigiDeck™ Sales Resource

·         Develop and implement global sales resource tool, DigiDeck™ platform for utilization by Global Sales and Partner Services teams.

·         Manage user access and system processes for GP Team.

·         Maintain and update relevant data/metrics to ensure consistency and accuracy across materials and regions. 

5 – Support of VIP Services & Special Events

·         Assist with onsite execution of VIP programs at events.

·         Assist with the creative development of marketing and sales materials for the marketing and sales of VIP packages to customers and businesses,

·         Assist with on-site VIP package sales (When working events).

Travel

Responsibilities:

This Director of Regional Marketing position is focused on leading the Regional Marketing Manager team who are responsible for designing strategic, overall event marketing programs that deliver participants against budgeted athlete targets.  The Director of Marketing brings strong leadership, project management skills, creativity, multichannel thinking, organization, analytical aptitude, teamwork and confidence to address every challenge and opportunity that presents itself. 

 This full-time, on-site role reports to the Senior Director of Marketeing and is based at the IRONMAN World Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and develop team of regional marketing managers who are in regional offices around the country
  • Responsible for helping Regional Marketing Managers meeting and exceeding their registration and revenue goals
  • Manages marketing budget, measuring ROI and efficiency of spends

Reports directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and VP of Customer Engagement. Partners with Directors of Marketing, Creative, Web, Development, Public Relations, and Event Management.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Lead digital marketing strategies and teams, including paid media tactics, SEO, email marketing, social media and content marketing
  • Manage Email Marketing team, Digital Content Strategists and agency partners
  • Report metrics in comparison to goals and benchmarks, and provide detailed monthly reporting of KPIs, including web, email and social analytics

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Provide insight on emerging trends and social media developments
  • Develop strategies to deepen relationships with current audience, attract new customers, build loyalty and encourage partnerships

This Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) position is focused on the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series and IRONMAN events. With a portfolio of US and Canadian events, the RMM is primarily responsible for designing strategic, overall event marketing programs that deliver participants against budgeted athlete targets.  Reporting to the Director of Event Marketing, the Regional Marketing Manager brings strong project management skills, creativity, multichannel thinking, organization, analytical aptitude, teamwork and confident leadership to every problem or opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead comprehensive regional marketing plans and manage implementation with event mangers and regional leadership.

  • Craft marketing approach for specific events, which adapt national product offerings or messages so that they resonate with consumers in each specific locale. 
  • Create promotional plans which successfully meet volume and profitability targets, and manage their implementation in partnership with creative services and the marketing department.

This position will report on email effectiveness to both Marketing appropriate stakeholders after each campaign, and should be able to communicate technical performance to a widely-varied audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

              Develop and traffic the email-marketing calendar

•              Ensure timely and accurate execution of email marketing campaigns

•              Develop effective list segmentation to increase click-through rates & effectiveness of marketing efforts
